Bio de Yasmin
Yasmin Doost is a former professional tennis player from the UK, who has over 20 years tennis experience and over 12 years coaching experience. She now continues to share her knowledge and passion for the game with an extensive list of local and international clients including A-List Celebrities and Royalty. Her clientele consists of beginners, intermediate and advanced players, teaching both adults and children in private and group settings. Yasmin left school aged 13 to train at the prestigious Sanchez-Casal Academy in Barcelona to pursue a dream of becoming a professional tennis player. After a year abroad, she came back to the UK and was hand selected to attend the UK's top leading academy, WIN Tennis at Bisham Abbey National Sport's Centre. Whilst playing on the professional international circuit, she was granted a full ride scholarship at the age of 17 and attended a Division 1 University in the USA (Gardner-Webb University) where she completed her undergraduate studies majoring in Public Relations and minoring in Spanish. Career Highlights include: - Ranked no.1 in her county (Dorset) from the age of 9-17 - Ranked Top.10 in the UK for her age group - Competed at European level from age of 13 - Competed at International level from age of 15 - Achieved a top 300 international ranking in both singles and doubles - Played at the highest collegiate level in the U.S. where she was the captain / No.1 player for the ladies tennis team in both singles & doubles Additional info: - Fully certified LTA Level 3 coach - DBS checked & First Aid certified - Languages: English, Spanish & Farsi Yasmin brings a holistic yet high vibrational energy to the court. She cares for her clients on a deep personal level and will tailor each session based on the individuals needs, accompanied by various learning techniques. With a repertoire of world-class drills that can be catered to every level, Yasmin's expertise will help clients in all aspects of their game; technically, tactically, mentally and improve on-court fitness whilst having FUN.
