«Therapy that celebrates your uniqueness. Professional, safe and confidential talking and creative therapies.»
Biografía de Sarah
The wonderfully dynamic process of therapy is proven to work best when it is co-created (between therapist and client) in the presence of genuine warmth, open-mindedness, listening and acceptance. These qualities are at the heart of my practice. I see each client as a whole rather than just necessarily their presenting issue but I have significant experience working with loss / grief / addiction / separation / illness / cancer diagnosis / ADHD / ASD / disordered eating / hormonal changes / trauma / Complex Trauma / PTSD / sexual identity / anxiety / panic / OCD / obsessional / paranoid / obtrusive thoughts / depression / apathy / co-dependency / disassociation / generational trauma and patterns. My particular passions are working with clients creatively to access their intuitive right-brain processing where they can uncover unconscious material safely when words are not possible. And working with clients helping them to connect and integrate psychedelic experiencing. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to its Ethical Framework for Good Practice. I am also a member of the Association for Person-Centred Creative Arts (APCCA). Qualifying from the highly-respected Metanoia Institute, London, I have a BSc (Hons) and Diploma in Advanced Pluralistic Person-Centred Counselling as well as a Certificate in Person-Centred Creative Arts. I practice pluralistic therapy, which is an integrative and collaborative approach. I draw on a number of specialist skills and different modalities - Person-Centred, Existential, Emotion-Focused, Creative Arts, Transactional Analysis, Meditation & Mindfulness, Gestalt - to help tailor-make the work to meet individuals where they are. My practice studio is right in the heart of Santa Gertrudis. Born and raised in the UK, I have lived with my family up in the mountains of northern Ibiza for the last ten years. I have been on my own life-changing journey in therapy and continue to develop and feel its many benefits.
