Biografía de Michael
Michael Iacovazzi-Pau, a Franco-Italian yoga teacher, began his yoga journey in the United States and has accumulated over 15 years of experience in traditional Hatha yoga. Over time, he developed Mindful Yoga—a holistic approach that integrates physical movement and self-reflection as a gateway to self-discovery and inner transformation. Before settling back in Paris, he spent the last four years in Cyprus, deepening his spiritual connection by leading yoga classes and retreats that combined yoga, meditation, and mindfulness in Mediterranean settings that celebrate nature and well-being. As the founder of Kalyana Wellbeing, he also designs well-being programs for individuals and businesses, merging his expertise in yoga with his background in leadership and coaching. Alongside his yoga practice, Michael has a passion for human development, world cuisine, travel, and sailing. Before dedicating himself fully to well-being, he spent the early years of his career advocating for women and minorities in leadership roles. He has been certified by Yoga Alliance International since 2020. Teaching Style and Yoga Practice Michael’s teaching philosophy is based on making yoga a tool for self-discovery, healing, and personal growth. His practice bridges the physical and emotional aspects of yoga, encouraging students to explore their inner world through mindful movement, breathwork, and meditation. His classes are both structured and intuitive, creating a safe space for practitioners of all levels to engage deeply with their practice. His style emphasizes present-moment awareness and the transformative power of yoga beyond the mat, allowing participants to connect more deeply with themselves and find balance.
